Olive Creative Strategies recently planted roots in Arizona, and we are thrilled to be thriving in the valley of the sun. Arizona is home to Maricopa County, the second-fastest-growing county in the U.S., which means brands are blooming! Since we are new to the scene, we couldn’t help but scope out some of the hottest businesses in the city and take a closer look at their PR, social media and marketing efforts.
Here are some Arizona brands we love right now.
Wellements, Organic Baby Products – Olive has several team members who are relatively new to the mom scene, and with an endless supply of baby products on the market, it gives us peace of mind to find a trusted source like Wellements. Wellements is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona and is known for their all-natural remedies as well as supplemental vitamins and minerals that are certified-organic and preservative-free. The company was created for parents by parents, and they are committed to providing clean products. We love this brand’s commitment to its customers. They also provide parents with valuable digital content to keep their target audience engaged.
O.H.S.O Brewery + Distillery – O.H.S.O is Arizona’s delicious nano-brewery, distillery, and dog-friendly hot spot. They have a local warehouse and four restaurant locations throughout the valley. O.H.S.O serves more than 40 beers on tap and offers refreshing craft cocktails infused with their own Arcadia vodka. We love the atmosphere and laid-back vibe of this local brand. They know how to keep it fresh with tours, tastings and events. When it comes to O.H.S.O’s marketing we find ourselves longing for more content on Instagram (call us!). Regardless, we love that this brand’s creativity keeps us and our furry friends coming back for more.
Cold Stone Creamery – If you live in Phoenix, you know a heat unlike most and ice cream in the desert is not just a treat, it’s a way of life. Cold Stone Creamery is a recognized brand across the U.S., and we are thrilled they call Arizona home. Their Instagram account makes us scream for ice cream, and we love the hashtag campaign #ColdStoneStyle. This social campaign brings customers to the forefront of their Instagram platform.
Agritopia – Developments and communities hold a special place in the Olive hearts, and Agritopia is no exception. This planned community offers a modern village life surrounding 11 acres of urban farmland. The community features craftsman style homes and tree-lined sidewalks which lead to a winery, restaurants, farm store and brewery, as well as a craftsman style barn which is home to shops and the original patent for the Kitchen Aid mixer. The entire development was created by Stanford graduate, Joe Johnston who grew up on the land farming cotton and wheat. Johnston and his family still reside in the community and are getting ready to build a five-story mixed-use luxury apartment complex called the Epicenter. We love this brand because the Johnston family is committed to connecting families and creating a neighborhood that is almost non-existent in the digital age.
Thrive Co-Working for Women – We couldn’t crush on brands without mentioning Thrive Co-Working. After all, this is the current location for our office in the desert! Thrive Co–Working was founded and owned by mother-daughter team Lynne King Smith (CEO, TicketForce) and Braelyn Smith, Thrive’s Director. They saw a need for not only more coworking options in Gilbert, but a community of women to build relationships within a work environment. This is a brand committed to empowering women. Thrive consistently provides valuable resources to their members, hosts tailored events that appeal to their target audience and utilizes social media to promote and share member stories. This brand understands the needs of their community and delivers with exceptional offerings.
